All grist cases must be correctly designed, not only to ensure they have the correct storage capacity and flow characteristics but as they are a high risk item in relation to potential dust explosions the design must incorporate necessary features such as correctly sized explosion panels along with adequate built in stiffeners to withstand the increase in pressure in the event of an incident. CTS use proprietary stainless steel certified explosion panels and our design is always supported by full design calculations in line with the latest ATEX regulations.
Grist cases can be supplied in either stainless steel or painted finish.
